Well...not the Tom Brady Patriots but the College of Central Florida Pats. The CF Patriots are one of the top Division 1, JCs in the country with a great track record of graduating sophomores to the next level. In fact, the 2017 team had 4 NFCA All Americans and at least 6 already sign with NCAA 4-year schools. 49er fans might recognize head coach, Kevin Fagan, as the All-Pro defensive lineman from the late 1980s.
Ashley did all the work to make this happen. She sent the emails, went to the camps and worked hard at school. Then last summer in Colorado, preparation met opportunity. Usually at third base, Ashley was tasked to play shortstop for a game or two. It just so happens that the CF coach was looking for a middle infielder and thought the Ashley fit the bill. Last weekend, Ashley visited the campus with her parents and realized it was a perfect fit all around so she verbally committed to be a Patriot.
